The Local Organizing Committee of ESC2008 is pleased to announce the organization of the 31st General Assembly of the European Seismological Commission to be held at the International Conference Center “Creta Maris”, Hersonissos, Crete, Greece, from 7 to 12 September, 2008.
Scientists, disaster mitigation planners, decision makers as well as representatives of the private sector, not only from Europe but also from other parts of the world, are warmly invited to participate and contribute to the scientific sessions and discussions, visit the exhibitions and enjoy the cultural and other social events scheduled to take place in association to ESC 2008.
